The distorted shape of the fence shown in the photograph contrasts with the perfect cylinder of the column. The construction safety net suggests a certain porosity and, when viewed for a longer period of time, reveals a perspective of a supposed „behind“. Thus, the advertising column is not treated as a mere flat surface, but as a surface with spatial depth.
