Corporate Poetry, magnetic wall and words, 2020
The work Corporate Poetry is based on research on so-called Corporate Speak, a specified corporate and business language. Characteristic for this language are long, complicated, anglicized, obscured words and euphemisms. Corporate speak is an artificial language that is difficult to understand on an intuitive level and reflects existing power structures between companies and employees. The vocabulary and terminology used in Corporate Poetry are borrowed from the corporate jargon of food delivery platforms. The work was created within the framework of the workshop Momentography of a failure at Academy of the Arts of the World in Cologne. Read more here.
